Ariel H. ShaynakAssociate
Ariel H. Shaynak, an associate with the firm, graduated with a BA in International Relations and Political Science from George Washington University and received her law degree from the University of Baltimore in 2001. She spent time abroad studying International Law in Geneva, Switzerland and Environmental and Human Rights Law in Strasbourg, France.
Prior to joining the firm, Ariel was a trial attorney with the Office of the Public Defender in Baltimore County where she represented adult and juvenile clients in all areas of criminal defense and delinquency matters.
After opening her own office in 2013, her practice shifted focus to primarily handling family law matters representing clients in divorce, custody, visitation, child support, alimony, property disposition, adoption, domestic violence, protective order cases while also continuing some criminal defense work. Ms. Shaynak realizes that Family law matters can be extremely stressful and they can have a lasting physical, emotional and financial effect on the parties and she knows that with her expertise she can potentially ease that burden.
Ariel's prior work experience also includes running pizza restaurants, fashion and retail as well as practicing many other areas of law and this gives Ms. Shaynak a unique perspective and insight into her client's cases.
Just like most of her clients, her family is her first priority and she loves spending time and traveling with her husband and children.
